The Walking Dead: 7 Characters Who Need To Die Next
7. Bob Stookey
Bob Stookey may have only been introduced to the show at the beginning of the current season, but he has already proved himself to be an extremely interesting addition to the group. He's haunted terribly by his experiences during the zombie apocalypse, having been the lone survivor of two groups before being found by Daryl and joining the prison community. He reveals that he has an alcohol problem, using it to send him to sleep each night to avoid thinking of what he's been through, and his alcoholism takes a nasty hold of him one two occasions whilst on supply runs with Daryl, causing the latter to lose trust in him. Bob is fundamentally a good character, determined to prove his worth despite his demons, notably helping administer medical aid to the infected in the makeshift prison hospital and helping to defend the group from the Governor's attack. But he is also a character who is plagued by tragedy, having witnessed his previous friends die all around him, you get the sense of great foreboding for the group whilst he is amongst them. For Bob's character to be truly redeemed and appreciated, you almost get the sense that he will die in tragic and quite possibly sacrificial circumstances, kind of what they tried with T Dog, had he been given the right to build up his character somewhat more substantially. I would fully expect Bob to die before the season is finished, though in his case, it's not a need for him to die, more one that seems inevitable, given his incredibly unlucky streak on the show.
