The Walking Dead: 7 Characters Who Need To Die Next

2. Maggie Greene

Make no mistake, Maggie Greene is undoubtedly one of the most popular characters on the show and has been so, pretty much from the very moment she was introduced. Maggie is an all action kind of woman, and is as prolific at slaying fields of the undead as she ever was as a helper on her father's farm. She provides an astounding mix of brutal action and tender loving, thanks to her romance with Glenn, not to mention a motherly presence for her sister, Beth. But unfortunately for Maggie, not only has she been criminally underused in this series so far, but she has also unwittingly made both Glenn and Beth distinctly less interesting because of it. True, Glenn wasn't exactly going to be right in the face of the action all too much this season, given that he spent most of it struggling to stand up, but instead of seeing the fierce Maggie that we're used to, we were stuck with one who was too busy playing the worried lover. Whilst it is very much understandable as to why she was playing that role, The Walking Dead universe does not tend to be kind to the couples of the group, and it wouldn't be ridiculously out of the blue to see Maggie succumb, possibly at the hands of Abraham Ford, potentially the new villain, in a devilish parallel to her ordeal with The Governor. Maggie is arguably one of my favourite characters, and whilst it would be a shame for her to be killed off, it could encourage the recent activity and interest of Beth, who has finally been freed to take part a little more in the second part of the fourth season. Furthermore, if we're going to be stuck with a determined and humorless Glenn as we have been for quite some time, Maggie's death could at least spark a more accurate reason for him to continue in his new found constant misery.
