The Walking Dead Season 4 Finale: 7 Major Terminus Theories

6. It's Atlanta

Have the survivors unwittingly ended up back where they started? Terminus is the original name of Atlanta, which was thus named because it was the end of the Georgia-to-Midwest line, and it's difficult to imagine that it was an accident that the self-styled sanctuary was called the same thing. Some might say this theory is unlikely, and more a case of a double-bluff on the show-makers' part, given that the narrative seems to be heading away from Georgia to Washington DC, but it might make sense for the survivors to be driven back to the starting point before they leave the locale entirely for what will be a whole new chapter for the show. The Hints The name seems the most simple indication, and of course, the rail-tracks played a fairly important part in the build-up to the finale, which takes on more significance if the idea was to highlight the destination as the End Of The Line.
