The Walking Dead Season 4 Finale: 7 Major Terminus Theories

5. They're Just SUPER Careful

All of the sinister readings of the Terminus situation seem to ignore the fact that the Terminus community could well just have learned more about the natural capacity for humans to be horrible evil people than any of our survivors ever have. Think about it; if you had a community you wanted to protect, it would pay to be conscientious about who you allow to live within the immediate vicinity. And if one new guest broke the rules, you'd pretty much be guaranteed to suspect that everybody else was going to follow the same trend, and bring death inside the walls. And at the end of the day, it makes a lot more sense to have your potential enemies locked away inside trailers where you can keep an eye on them (or leave them just to die), rather than giving them free reign to plot and connive outside of the community. The Hints In terms of some of the darker theories about the Terminus gang, it would seem somewhat odd that a group of people, no matter how warped by their situation, would commemorate and memorialise their dead if they were eating them, and leaving their half-eaten carcusses lying around for anyone to see. It just doesn't make sense. The world of The Walking Dead has already established that there are a lot of bandits and aggressive groups wandering around looking to kill and rape people, and while the signs leading to Terminus might smell a little fishy, who is to say that they weren't erected before the Terminus residents realised that they had enemies among survivors as well as walkers?
