8. The Hunters Are Revealed
There is no topic on the Walking Dead that needs to be visited more than cannibalism. As the centric theme of the show is surviving flesh-eating zombies, a subplot that could cast ripples through the show could be if that fear translated to the living. Since the introduction of Terminus, it's long been speculated the survivors who dwell there are cannibals. However, when taken at face value there really isn't a whole lot of proof to this theory but carries an enormous amount of Internet clout. In the comic book, a mysterious group known as the Hunters, led by a man named Chris, stalks Ricks group. This group consisted of only a handful of individuals that live in a house outside of Washington DC; nothing like Terminus's massive settlement. If the Terminus survivors do prove to be cannibals, it's possible they could be the televised version of this group. It could also be possible Gareth and the Terminus survivors are an entirely new addition to the series and have nothing to do with cannibalism and the Hunters. At this point, it's almost too obvious the Terminus survivors are people-eaters and the producers are simply trying to create misdirection with their motives. Whatever the Terminus motivations are, it's clear Rick and his people will escape at some point to possibly cross paths with the Hunters.
