7. Gabriel Stokes Is Introduced
Since Beth and Daryl stumbled across the church last season, fans have anxiously been awaiting the reveal of what inevitably has to be preacher Gabriel Stokes. The two fell across a gold mine - a church that appeared to be stocked with provisions and what appeared to be a well-defended location. All of this was short lived when Daryl decided to help out a roaming canine, resulting in the location being overrun and Beth's apparent abduction. Fans have speculated that Beth ended up in the clutches of the Terminus survivors. There have been a number of Internet anecdotes that Mary, the BBQ pit master of Terminus, was wearing Beth's sweater and she may possibly be one of the main courses on the menu. All of this is unproven and the more likely scenario is Gabriel Stokes was the one who snatched up Beth - whether it was against her will or not is a tale that will be told this season. If Gabriel's introduction to the television show is to stay true to his comic book roots, it's possible he comes across Rick and his group along with Beth. Gabriel is forced to flee the confines of his church due to dwindling supplies which doesnt appear to be the case on the television series. His story could now morph into a situation where his once secure place of refuge has been over run by walkers due to Daryl's mistake. Another side note to Gabriel's potential introduction is the casting of acting Seth Gilliam, a possible contender to play the role of the preacher with a dark past.
