The Walking Dead Season 5: 8 Things That Will Happen

1. Rick's Group Becomes The Threat

Take a step back and imagine that you've been through hell and back again over and over. You've lost loved ones at an unspeakable rate, betrayal from a close friend from a past life, and the death of countless others you've grown to love and care about. You've seen hopes and dreams dashed at the hands of a madman who only sought power and control for himself. Don€™t forget, the world you live in is also populated with the walking dead, who are also trying to catch and eat you at every turn. You've witnessed and seen the worst that humans have to offer while the world has gone to hell around you. This is the realm of Rick Grimes and his survivors; a group that has withstood the most psychologically disturbing events on the planet. When Rick and his people arrive at the Alexandria Safe-Zone, they are a group that has been beaten and battered down so badly that they don't believe there's any good left in the world. At this point they've dealt with the Governor, survived the Hunters/Terminus and countless other murderous marauders on the road to Washington DC. Rick and his people are beaten and broken by the time they reach the Alexandria Safe-Zone and trust no one. How much of a twist would it be if the season ended with Rick and his group being portrayed as the antagonist? Think about it: It wouldn€™t be a full blown heel turn but they've crossed paths with some of the nastiest individuals left in the human race and lived to tell the tale. Time and time again they've tried to find hope in good people, but have been wrong more times than not. Season five will be a season that sees a drastic change in Rick as he obsesses even more about preserving his sons life. Rick snapping on the highway and biting Joe's throat out is only the beginning, as the events at Terminus will most likely take him to an even darker place. By the time Rick and his people arrive at the Alexandria Safe-Zone, it will be too natural for Rick Grimes to go even deeper to that dark place. What do you think - Will any of these events occur in season five? Will we possibly see Rick and his group become the threat? Sound off and let us know what you think!
