The old red herring. It certainly looked like Glenn died in episode three and there was pretty much zero ways he could escape his situation, but we never actually saw his body being torn into. Sure there was a lot of blood and guts, but it also seemed to look like Nicholas fell on top of him when they fell off of the dumpster. It could be (and is very likely) Nicholas's guts we see getting spread all over Glenn. How could Glenn get out of an absolutely for sure deadly scenario like that? We don't know, but Glenn's actor has been photographed on set for various episodes that haven't aired yet. It could be that they were just filming flashback scenes as he is wearing his old outfit in the set pictures that leaked out, but odds are he is alive. If that is the case, it will end up being a problem for the show runners. You can't pretend to kill a character off, bring them back and then follow up their return by killing them again. If Glenn comes back miraculously from his no win situation just to be killed by Lucille at the end of the season, Negan's big entrance will be completely wasted on a character everyone had already assumed was dead. If they bring him back, fine. But don't bring him back just to waste Negan on him. Who do you think will meet their end at the hands of Negan (and Lucille)? Share your thoughts in the comments.
