2. Nobody

Everyone, myself included, expects at least one main cast member to take a barb wired bat to the head at the end of this season. It was a huge moment in the comics, and Negan is almost certainly going to appear this season, so it kind of has to happen. But what if it doesn't? Everyone is so sure it is going to happen that the biggest possible twist they could pull is to not have it happen at all. Negan showing up and preparing to kill one of them, only to change his mind and let everyone live. There would be a universal sigh of relief from each character's fandom shortly before everyone rushed online to complain that the character they were expecting to die didn't. It would be disappointing, sure. But nobody would be expecting it. If they break away from the comics on such an important scene, who knows what kind of Negan we would end up getting?
