WandaVision: 10 Things We Need To See
8. The Fate of Tommy and Billy
The biggest head trip that has happened in WandaVision so far has got to be the way that both Tommy and Billy were born. Since Wanda's emotions play such a big role in her powers, the fact that she was able to deliver these babies at all was a bit of a strange detour for what was supposed to be an easygoing comedy. However, what happens when you get rid of the actual mind control?
As opposed to just the normal kids (or lack thereof) in Westview, Billy and Tommy start to feel less and less like characters and more like pawns in Wanda's 4-D chess game.
From the way they casually start to act out to the random ageing up they they did halfway through episode five, these are obviously not the same kind of kids that Wanda may have had in mind when first deciding to make them a part of the show.
While the ending of the last episode left things a touch ambiguous, the question of whether they're real or not should definitely come back into play later, especially if the end of the show leads to Wanda having to give up her children, which would make for the biggest freakout of cosmic energy Wanda has ever done since she lost her brother in Age of Ultron.
Regardless of how this is going to play out, Billy and Tommy may be in for a bit of a rough ride by the season's end.
