WandaVision: 10 Things We Need To See

4. A Nineties Intro

One of the few quirky moments that have filled out the past few episodes of the show have always been the amazing use of the old time TV tropes of family sitcoms.

Though it's a bit of a weird thing to think about how Wanda has the knowledge of these shows being from another country, it's still a welcome surprise to see the old-timey credits and cheesy-as-hell songs go by as we move through the decades. As we move from one decade to another though, we all know that the nineties are due to come next.

Across every single decade, the actual "theme songs" of each era of WandaVision have been pretty much pitch perfect, each of which seem to set the tone for the show going forward. Going into the next decade though, it's going to be a bit of mystery as to which show they're going to pull from next. Up until this point, it seemed that we have been on a crash course of old TV, from the Leave it To Beaver style opening in the early days to the Full House pastiche happening in the last episode.

Seeing how things are starting to turn a corner a bit in the show, it might make sense to have a TV theme akin to something like Seinfeld or Friends on the opening card, or rather the cutesy family drama happening in something like Growing Pains. I mean, they've hit it out of the park with each decade already... why stop the nostalgia trip now?
