WandaVision: 8 Characters Who Could Still Make A Shocking Appearance

What more surprises could WandaVision have in store after last week's Fox-related cliffhanger?

It's fair to say that WandaVision has kicked off the MCU's run of Disney+ properties in style, and has fans absolutely hooked. Through five episodes the series has already thrown so many curveballs and shocks that it is genuinely impossible to predict what will be coming next.

One thing that has been teased by both Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany however is a huge cameo appearance - something on a similar level to Luke Skywalker showing up in The Mandalorian. While it would be easy to believe that they were referring to Evan Peters' MCU debut in episode five, which certainly was a huge surprise, many fans aren't convinced that this was what the stars of the show were referring to.

While WandaVision is completely unique and unlike anything else in the MCU, it is still very much a part of the wider universe. So far the only previously seen MCU characters outside of the titular duo have been Jimmy Woo, Darcy Lewis, and Monica Rambeau, but there is certainly the potential for any number of others to show up in Westview.

However, from this long list of characters that could make an appearance, there are only a handful that could make the same impact Mark Hamill had on the Star Wars universe last year...

8. Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Quicksilver

Who says WandaVision has to stop at just one Quicksilver? Evan Peters has already turned up in Westview, but in this series things are very rarely actually as they seem, and just because the actor that portrayed the character in the X-Men movies has appeared, doesn't mean the MCU actor can't.

Theories have been running wild after Peters made his MCU debut in episode five, with some believing that he is not in fact Pietro at all, but rather a deception sent Wanda's way by either SWORD or Agnes, and others under the impression that he could genuinely be Wanda's 'recast' brother.

Either way, the door for a Marvel Cinematic Universe return for Aaron Taylor-Johnson, six years after his character died, is more open than ever before. WandaVision has thrown the rule book out of the window, with posthumous appearances in Westview no longer a particularly big obstacle.

If Evans is either a false Pietro, or a Pietro from another dimension, Wanda could ache for the real thing more than ever and reanimate him in a similar way to how she has with Vision. Alternatively, there is every chance Peters is playing the same version Taylor-Johnson played, only with his appearance altered to fit in Westview, again much like with Vision. When/if the barrier ever comes down, so could this veil, revealing Aaron Taylor-Johnson in whatever true state Quicksilver's body is in.
