6. Is There Still A Big Aerospace Engineer Reveal Yet To Come?
Ever since Monica mentioned her aerospace engineering friend in episode five, fans have been wondering who it could be. After the mystery seemingly deepened in episode six, it appeared certain that a big reveal was coming in episode seven.
Theories varied from the likes of Blue Marvel, Reed Richards, and more that could have designed the heavy duty vehicle for Monica, but her contact was ultimately introduced as Major Goodner, a character that seemingly has absolutely no history or ties to the comics whatsoever.
After the weeks of build up, this was slightly disappointing, but realistically there is no reason to believe that Goodner was the actual engineer herself. Since she referred to the machine as something 'we' made rather than something 'I' made, it's perfectly reasonable to think that she was just part of the team and not the main engineer herself.
This character could still be lurking in the background waiting for their big moment in either episode eight or nine, particularly if they are now featuring mid-credit scenes. Here's hoping, otherwise fans everywhere, this writer included, will have wasted plenty of time theorising exactly who the potentially franchise changing character could be.
