WandaVision Episode 5 Theories: 5 Biggest Talking Points
2. Wanda Isn't Just Creating A Show, She's Creating Her Own Reality
Everything that we see in WandaVision is pre-determined by Wanda herself.
The show that Darcy Lewis and Jimmy Woo are watching in the fourth episode is carefully curated by Wanda to not reveal any of the cracks in her powers. However, the Disney+ audience is given the pleasure of seeing what happens behind the scenes.
At first, it seemed as though Wanda was merely creating a show, changing her surroundings just in order for her to see things a certain way. Since the fifth episode has been released, however, it has become apparent that she is manipulating reality and causing physical changes to everything around her.
When the S.W.O.R.D. drone enters, she changes it and it is then permanently changed when it returns.
Similarly, Monica Rambeau's outfit from her time in Westview is altered when she returns to our reality. The bulletproof vest that she was wearing when she entered, merged with her costume and altered the fabrics of her outfit to become 89% kevlar.
Wanda's reality-bending abilities are no longer just holographic, but physical. If she can alter everything INSIDE of Westview, what happens if she begins to manipulate real life?
