WandaVision Episode 6: 5 Biggest Talking Points
1. Pietro Knows More Than We Think
A cliché in most classic sitcoms, Pietro Maximoff arrives in spectacular fashion at the end of WandaVision's fifth episode as Wanda's larger-than-life brother.
Unlike all of the other new arrivals to Westview, Wanda's long lost sibling appears to have full knowledge of his life before he arrived. Pietro also starts asking Wanda questions about this whole situation. He asks her how this started, trying to find out exactly what is going on. The key feature to notice about the speedster is that he knows a lot more than anyone else.
Teasing his sister about her "dead husband" tells the audience (and Wanda) that he has a clear understanding of what has happened before Wanda's apparent breakdown.
Whether he has been sent to Westview on a mission by a branch of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, or a distress signal has been picked up by a certain telepath... we do not know. The thing that is clear, however, is that Quicksilver knows much more than we are expecting. (That "unleash hell, demon spawn!" line is also one to keep an eye on.)
Expect there to be a reveal in one of the final trilogy of episodes, with Pietro explaining how he came to arrive in Westview, along with his real intentions.
