What Marvel's Jessica Jones Cast Look Like In The Comics
2. Patricia Walker
In The Comics:
One of the most prominent of the "golden oldies" of the Marvel comics, Patsy Walker was originally a teenage girl who got up to silly and lighthearted shenanigans in the 1940s, the stories eventually being retconned into in-universe comics created by the "real" Patricia Walker's mother, using her as the subject matter. Patsy herself would, growing up around comics, become fascinated with the superheroes around her in the Marvel Universe, and eventually herself become the superhero Hellcat, through extensive martial arts training, with some minor enhancement.
In The TV Series:
Jessica's best friend and adoptive sister, Trish Walker grew up in the spotlight as an abused child star, under the TV personality "Patsy", and she and Jessica maintain a close relationship over the years, with Trish wishing for the powers Jessica had. A semi-prominent radio show host, she helps Jessica take Kilgrave down in season one, but in season two, her need for power creates a rift between her and Jessica. It's implied that she's on her way to becoming Hellcat, with slight enhancements to her body as a result of Karl Malus' failed experiment. She's portrayed by the talented Rachael Taylor.
