What Marvel's The Defenders Cast Look Like In The Comics

Jeryn Hogarth was a lawyer and businessman who was a very close friend to Wendell Rand, Iron Fist's father, and tended to his and his wife's graves following their untimely deaths. His look is what you would imagine from someone of his age and profession, complete with a business suit, glasses, and thinning hair.

In the Marvel Civil War, Hogarth, who opposed superhero registration, was also able to prevent Iron Man from arresting Iron Fist.

In The Show

Jeri Hogarth, re-imagined as a slightly younger female character (who's color of choice when it comes to clothing seems to be black), serves as the conniving boss to a freelancing Jessica Jones who would eventually bring Foggy Nelson in to work for her firm after Nelson & Murdock's dissolution. Finally, it is revealed that Jeri was an intern at Rand Enterprises in her earlier years and, now a seasoned lawyer, helps Danny regain control of the company.

In another Defenders appearance that is more-or-less a cameo, Hogarth appears to try and talk Jessica Jones off of her warpath (to no avail, of course.)
