11. Aparna Nancherla (Hollyhock)
Hollyhock arrived in Season Four, initially thinking she was BoJack’s daughter, though she was ultimately revealed to be his half sister. She was a huge focus of the show in that fourth season, and changed BoJack’s life forever.
Season Four had a couple of weaker offerings (See Mr Peanutbutter Run and The Judge), but it also has so many great ones. Nobody quite changed the dynamic of the show in the way Hollyhock did, and it’s a shame that she’s only been given a solitary appearances in the two subsequent seasons.
With Season Six’s mid season finale ending on the cliffhanger of Hollyhock about to discover one of the worst events of BoJack’s life, she’s certain to be more involved going forward.
Nancherla mostly plies her trade as a stand up comedian, and has written for Inside Amy Schumer and Late Night With Seth Myers. Still clearly a rising star, BoJack is a big feather in her cap.
