What The Rick And Morty Voice Actors Look Like In Real Life

4. Sarah Chalke (Beth Smith)

The wine-guzzling mother of Morty and Summer, Rick's daughter Beth had a pretty rough childhood thanks to the separation of her parents, and her father's tendency to prioritise his scientific genius over spending some normal quality time with his family.

A lot of people will instantly recognise Sarah Chalke for her role in popular TV sitcom Scrubs, where she played Elliot Reid, a series regular for the majority of the show's run. Chalke has also appeared in other massive TV shows like Roseanne and How I Met Your Mother, and has so many credits to her name that she can almost be described as a staple of the American TV scene.

While it's normally the likes of Rick, Morty and Mr. Poopybutthole who fans gravitate towards when picking their standout characters, Beth is a favourite of creator Dan Harmon, so she probably has a safe future on the show for many more years to come.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for over ten years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too. If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order, or to give you a random factoid about the making of Gridlock, Danny is the person to ask!
