After being seduced by Lenore, Hector has a magic slave ring slipped onto his finger that now binds him to the vampire sisters. His naivety is what leads him to being manipulated, and now yet again he finds himself as little more than a lap dog. But a powerful one. With Hector now forced to do the vampires' bidding, his ability to forge night creatures opens an avenue for Carmilla and her sisters to have an entire army at their disposal.

Can Hector manage to break free from his chains? And what does his imprisonment mean for Carmilla's plans to conquer a vast empire? What is clear is that, given his disbelief at allowing himself to become bound to the sisters, Hector will try anything to escape from his captors.
