Where Can Doctor Who Go After 'The Timeless Children?'
The Pre-Hartnell Doctors
Moving on from The Doctor's new origin story, we find the second big reveal of the season, though one that was hinted at earlier on with the reveal of Jo Martin's Ruth/Doctor. Here we found out that the Doctor herself has lived many more lives than even she is aware of, thanks to her ability to regenerate more than the twelve times Tecteun allowed the Time Lords when she spliced this ability into them.
We don't know how many other lives The Doctor has led in total, and we don't know what she's done in those lives. More importantly, The Doctor doesn't know either. What's exciting about this is that at any time we could come across a brand new Doctor in a storyline and not know them for sure until it's actually spelled out for us.
And there is no guarantee that these Doctors will be an ally to our Doctor. They could very well be the antagonist of a storyline, simply because they're following the orders of the organization responsible for her not knowing her past selves: The Division.
