Why The Big Bang Theory Just Got Cancelled

1. Jim Parsons Reportedly Wanted To Leave

While there are a number of factors in why it's time to end The Big Bang Theory, word comes from Entertainment Weekly of the biggest: Jim Parsons wanted out.

The outlet have reported that the actor - who is SOMEHOW 45-years-old!? - informed producers of his desire to move on to pastures new, which is understandable when he's been on the series for so long, and works on spin-off Young Sheldon too.

While TBBT is an ensemble show, there's no denying that Parsons has become the biggest star, and Sheldon is its most famous (and typically most popular and quoted) character. Without him, there's no way the show would be able to work.
