The little sitcom that could, Community somehow made it to Season 6 earlier this year, which aired online on Yahoo. Created by Dan Harmon and starring the likes of Joel McHale and Alison Brie, Community focused on a study group at Greendale Community College, made up of a variety of misfits who become an extremely tight-knit group of friends. Incredibly meta and super smart, while also containing plenty of warmth and heart when it wanted to, Community is one of the best sitcoms of the last decade. While it may have had a cult following and critics loved it, the show always struggled when it came to viewers. Harmon left the show after Season 3, which led to the rather terrible fourth season (or 'gas-leak year). Harmon returned for the improved Season 5, but then NBC cancelled the show. It got another chance thanks to Yahoo, but now, after six seasons, it finally seems to be over. Maybe one day, we'll get that movie.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
