10 UFC Stars Who Deserve Your Attention In 2020

UFC has undoubtedly grown to quite the epic scale over the last two decades. Now, instead of only boasting a few superstar names (à la Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz and Randy Couture) the company showcases a whole host of stars which even the most casual of fans will admit to knowing.
Almost every division now flaunts a diverse selection of engaging contenders, which regularly excite both people at home and the lucky audience inside of the arena.
However, that doesn't mean that every fighter that should be under the spotlight necessarily is.
With such a vast array of talented athletes on his books, Dana White obviously cannot fit every single fighter into the spot on the card which they deserve and therefore - if they aren't exactly on the same level of stardom as say a Conor McGregor or Amanda Nunes - these dark horses tend to get lost in the shuffle.
But not for much longer.
Whether they're rising stars or battered veterans, each of these next ten warriors absolutely deserve to be thrust into a position of prominence in the near future. So, here's hoping this list goes some way to lighting the fuse of support they definitely warrant.
10. Francis Ngannou
It feels a tad offensive to label Francis Ngannou as the UFC Heavyweight division's best kept secret because at this point, what more does he need to do to bully himself back into the title picture?
After falling to current champ Stipe Miocic at UFC 220 and Derrick Lewis at UFC 226, Ngannou has systematically bullied the likes of Curtis Blaydes, Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos... in an accumulative time of just two minutes and 22 seconds! Before his unfortunate two fight losing streak, he also managed to completely murder UFC legend Alistair Overeem and Andrei Arlovski in the first round.
It's just irritating that we currently live in an MMA landscape where promoters are more interested in creating super-fights than actual legitimate top contender vs. champion bouts.
However, there is still hope.
If Jon Jones does decide to chicken out and not target the Heavyweight gold - after Miocic vs. Daniel Cormier 2 goes down - then whoever wins that epic blow-off fight will need an immediate challenger. Is there anyone in that division currently more deserving than 'The Predator'?
