1 Up & 2 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Jul 12)

1. Contradicting Herself

Just a few weeks ago, Kiera Hogan stated that she didn't need any friends, which is fine enough. Then on a following episode, she asked where the sisterhood was within the knockouts division, effectively saying the complete opposite of what she had previously claimed. But now, she's straight up contradicting herself.

After she and Madison Rayne both lost to Jordynne Grace in a three way match - the only new match on the show - Rayne began attacking 'Thicc Mama Pump', an attack that Hogan would join in with. While it may not mean she and the 'Queen Bee' are necessarily friends, things are certainly leaning towards that fact right now.

Not only is Kiera going against what she's been saying, but this also isn't the greatest move for her character right now. We've seen one or two decent performances from her since she developed this new attitude, but it's not enough to establish her as a top-tier name in Impact. Forming another alliance won't benefit either her or Madison in this situation, especially if it means having both of them demolished by Jordynne Grace.
