1 Up & 5 Downs From AEW Battle Of The Belts VI

Downs...

5. Never Hit The Heights

Orange Cassidy Dralistico
AEW

Lucha Libre star Dralistico has worked some matches over in ROH, but he'll be an unfamiliar face to most AEW fans. Perhaps some of the hardcores will know a thing or two about him, actually. That's about it though, and booking him in a stone cold title bout vs. Orange Cassidy with zero build won't help matters.

This was an exhibition at best.

There was a weird moment around halfway through too; Orange faked out on a dive, then went to the opposite corner and started climbing the turnbuckles for literally no reason. Alex Abrahantes cut him off, then Dralistico hit a dive onto Best Friends and Rush around ringside. Huh? That looked off.

Cassidy's latest title defence just never hit the heights of recent All-Atlantic/International Title matches he's had. No storyline going in and a surprisingly tepid match = 'Down'. There isn't much more to say about this one, and it'll be forgotten quickly.
