1 Up & 6 Downs From AEW Rampage (Aug 26)

1. The Overall Messy Vibe

This guy said it last week, and it's worth repeating. AEW is kinda all over the place right now - All Out is next weekend, but there's no main event set in stone yet. On TV, random wrestlers are getting shoved into random title matches without any rhyme or reason, then the announcers are crowing about bullsh*t title rankings in the very next segment.

So many workers on the roster seem rudderless/like they've got no sense of direction, and a fair few would probably be better off trying their luck in WWE. That might sound ridiculously harsh, but it's so bloody frustrating to watch Tony Khan continue to do nothing with folks like Ruby Soho when the entire wrestling community claimed she'd soar to new heights upon becoming All Elite.

That hasn't happened. She's been here for almost a year!

It's all rather concerning, to tell the truth. The sooner this gets sorted out, the better, because AEW is capable of being awesome when the roster is motivated, hungry and determined to put on a good product. Be worried for All Out. Be very worried.
