10 2020 Mistakes WWE Will Definitely Repeat

The wheels on (WWE's) bus go round and round, round and round...

They're already doing it!

2021 has barely started and WWE are already repeating mistakes from 2020. Goldberg bounding back onto the scene and challenging Drew McIntyre for the WWE Title during Raw's recent 'Legends Night' was the inspiration for this list, and it gets one thinking: What other mistakes are they likely to hit the rerun button on this year?

This is not a company that tends to stop and hyper-analyse itself. Maybe there's too much content for that - Vince McMahon, Triple H and their vast army of writers, producers, agents and staff have to create approx 10 hours of programming every single week. Raw is three hours, SmackDown and NXT are two apiece, and then there's NXT UK, 205 Live and other fare like Main Event.

That's before one takes into account other peripheral shows like The Bump, Talking Smack etc. It's too much, but that's not an excuse. They're the ones steering the ship, and it's unacceptable that WWE repeat the same errors over and over like nothing happened the first time.

Will they do that over the next 12 months? You bet your ass they will...

10. Spotty NXT Call Ups

Someone, somewhere is buzzing to see Damian Priest talk about his past as a yoga instructor and Shotzi Blackheart reveal her mini-tank obsession is actually some hangover from watching too many war films in 2021. Obviously, these are ludicrous situations, but you heard them here first.

After all, Riddle had frostbitten feet. Remember that?

WWE tend to screw with characters they pluck from the warm bosom of NXT. It happened to Riddle, and it's happening to big Keith Lee. Such is life - Vinnie Mac doesn't seem to think anyone cares a jot what's occurring on the black and yellow brand. Any stars "called up" to Raw or SmackDown must be tampered with.

2021 will be no different. Expect anyone trading NXT for red or blue to undergo some not-so-subtle changes during their first few months in the ThunderDome. Of course, this sh*ts all over anyone who does care about Wednesday nights on USA, but WWE don't seem to care.
