10 80s Wrestlers Who Would Be Awesome In Today's WWE
3. Junkyard Dog
The Junkyard Dog's size, his look, his walkout to the ring (with fans patting/slapping him as he went by - reminiscent of Roman Reigns' walk through the crowd) - all of these attributes would make him awesome in the WWE today.
Some of the more dog-like actions of the character would have needed to be toned down (biting at air), but just as the aforementioned Reigns has his howl, barking for the Junkyard Dog wouldn't be that much of an issue.
Beyond that, he was a big man with surprisingly good athletic ability, which is exactly the way the modern WWE has gone over the past several years. So with all that said, there's no question that a character like his could fit in today (again, sadly, as with so many of the wrestlers on this list, he passed away in 1998 after falling asleep at the wheel).
