10 Absolute Best Matches WWE Could Present In 2017
4. Neville Vs. Seth Rollins
As refreshing as Neville's King of the Cruiserweights act has been - and as much as the man has elevated the division since his late 2016 heel turn - his talents are being wasted in the library that is 205 Live. His arc has a natural conclusion: relinquish the crown, fail to reclaim it, emerge from the regicide having put over his successor huge in the proper RAW ranks.
Neville's expert grasp of his heel character would lend itself to an excellent rivalry with a man whose grasp of his own role is only just firming up: Seth Rollins. The two men have already offered a promise of what they could achieve together, in an awesome (if brief) match on the 6 April 2014 RAW - but the current dynamic promises something much more than that.
Neville operates at his best when he refuses to take to the skies, thus depriving a greedy audience of his spectacular offence; positioning Rollins as his reckless foil would enhance a very intriguing character dynamic let down slightly by the lack of importance placed on it in its current context.
Neville is a main event act in an undercard setting. That needs to be rectified.
