8. Keith 'Bearcat' Lee
How do you get Keith Lee wrong?
Seriously? You would have to actively try to mess things up to get such a special talent, one who defies his look and breaks the mould, one that has limitless (pun intended) charisma and a natural connection with the crowd.
But they have. Well done, Vince McMahon.
Despite stripping him of some of his identity when Lee was promoted to the main roster, the big man still had enough about him to make an impact. Smooth on the mic and still hard-hitting in the ring, things got off to an okay start despite fifty-fifty booking.
But what the hell is this 'Bearcat' nonsense?
Yes, it's a tribute to the legendary Bearcat Wright, but where has this come from? Suddenly, a man who is well known to the fans due to his dominance in NXT, has decided he is now Keith 'Bearcat' Lee, and he has some scary scratch marks on his singlet. Cool.
We've had no follow up since his return, no explanation for why he has suddenly decided to ditch his own identity and continue the legacy of another wrestler. We don't even know why he has turned heel, for goodness sake.
We just want our Keith Lee back!
