10 Absolute Worst Matches In WWE SummerSlam History

2. The Brothers Of Destruction Vs Diamond Dallas Page & Chris Kanyon (SummerSlam 2001)

Who knew that a match with one Undertaker could somehow be worse than one with two?

An unforgivably awful mistreatment of two diamonds in the Jersey rough that still could have been pristine had they avoided an 'American Bad *ss' at his insecure worst, this SummerSlam cage match saw 'The Deadman' and brother Kane subject Diamond Dallas Page and Kanyon to an ungodly slaughter in a figurative rendering of what the Invasion angle was rapidly becoming.

Trapped in the middle of a storyline deader than 'Taker's old gimmick, DDP was first revealed as his wife Sara's stalker with the beg to be "made famous" by the 'Demon Of Death Valley". The sheer arrogance of the company to promote Page as requiring such a rub exposed their disinterest in his character, but disinterest was nothing complete to the total destruction he encountered once they actually got in the ring. Kanyon, even as 'Alliance MVP', was insane to join up with him.

With less than even a little respect for their opponents, the pair took their heat, their credibility and their Tag Team Titles to reign as stewards of the WWE and "WCW" doubles divisions after an embarrassing 10 minute squash.
