10 Absolutely Incredible Wrestling Comparisons

4. Hulk Hogan And Finn Bálor Have Something Weird (And Bleak) In Common

You wouldn't think Hulk Hogan and Finn Bálor were anything alike.

Hogan worked a limited formula match (albeit to deafening effect), where Bálor is a sensational and influential hybrid wrestler. Hogan is a piece of sh*t, where Bálor seems like a stand-up guy. Hogan testified in court that he does not have a 10-inch penis, where Bálor, as you can tell from the outline, is packing dong.

And yet, they do have something wild and in one case depressing in common: both men took the exact same amount of days to win their first World Title in WWE: 27.

Caveat here: Bálor won the NXT Title during a two-year stint in quasi-developmental, but that didn't count in the eyes of Vince McMahon. If it did, Vince would A) not ignore everything that got the old "black and gold" lot over and B) have actually watched the programme.

Hogan was launched into the stratosphere following his win, where Bálor, a hasty replacement for Roman Reigns, was never thought of as "the guy".

His Universal Title win sadly underscored how WWE had evolved into a brand-first churn delivery system with an ability to push anybody in the top spot, whether they actually liked them or not.
