10 Absolutely Incredible Wrestling Comparisons

3. Bron Breakker's Suboptimal Career Trajectory

Bron Breakker is WWE's can't-miss prospect. At least, he should be.

Not since Goldberg in 1998 has a performer emerged on the scene with such an irresistible blend of explosive power and raw meathead energy. One particular spear taken by Dolph Ziggler was so brutal that it was up there with Goldberg's very best. He looked like he had snapped the poor pr*ck in half. It was awesome.

The problem is that WWE lays out matches on Bron's behalf that are closer to the Goldberg of 2003. He sells for prolonged periods of time despite not being great at emoting and selling the struggle.

Sadly, there's another, far more troubling comparison to be made: Bron Breakker's career trajectory mirrors that of the Ultimate Warrior almost exactly.

Think about it: arrives on the scene in colourful, eye-catching garb, racks up several wins, gets over, doesn't seem especially bright, captures a major title more quickly than most, is forecast to be the guy, and then...

...is sucked into a naff supernatural vortex.

Warrior was led through a snake pit by Jake Roberts and made to spew goo by Papa Shango, where Breakker was eaten by Joe Gacy's druids, before which he was haunted by this apparent supernatural presence whose reflection he saw in a mirror. It's not great.

Hopefully Breakker doesn't end up speaking publicly.
