2. McMahon Gets Finished Off At A Strip Club

The looming steroid scandal of the early 1990s - and general pro wrestling insanity - converged on one completely insane night in San Antonio in November 1991. It was a blowoff for the ages - a chance for the WWF roster to let their mullets down one last time before stringent drug testing was implemented to temporarily clean up the dark underbelly of the rampant, literally toxic culture.

McMahon joined the boys in a strip club. When he arrived, he was, as recounted by Bret Hart in his autobiography 'Hitman', "sh*t-faced" with "his tie hanging loosely around his neck." Hulk Hogan took advantage of Vince's worse-for-wear state and dared the Legion of Doom's Hawk to smash him with their ludicrously dangerous Doomsday Device finish, with only Hogan's drunken 24 inch pythons to cushion his fall from the hard carpeted flooring below. His partner Animal crouched behind McMahon before Hawk sprinted off the bar and levelled him with a clothesline. That was the idea; according to Hart, the impact was gentle.

It was at this point that Hart's Hart Foundation teammate Jim Neidhart claimed he would clobber Vince with full force. Hart allegedly did just that. Vince's head bounced off the floor with a sickening thud.

His response? "You owe me a drink, Hitman!"
