10 Absolutely Incredible WWE Backstage Vince McMahon Stories

1. Asian Por...?

Vince McMahon was reluctant to hire Gail Kim based on the recommendation of talent scout Jim Ross, even though the good ol' commentator had recommended the future of his company for years prior to 2002.

"She's Asian," came the not-verbatim response. That was the blank Jim Ross filled in for him upon reading his mind. Vince's previous handling of Asian talents also tells a certain tale. Those men invariably walked to the ring to the sound of traditional eastern woodwind instruments and shamisen. Those men sneak attacked their opponents just like those sneaky Japanese snuck up on Pearl Harbour in 1941. Those men were dubbed comic relief when they weren't booked as one dimensional foreign menaces.

But a woman? There's nothing menacing about a woman, foreign or otherwise. What possible use could Vince McMahon have for a Canadian woman of dreaded Asian descent?

It was then that Ross confirmed the existence - not merely the popularity - of Asian pornography. McMahon could scarcely believe that enough men were attracted to Asian women - even Asian men, presumably - to warrant getting the camera out. And people wonder why Shinsuke Nakamura isn't setting the main roster alight. Can he really kick people that hard? He's only got little Asian legs, d*mmit!"

Somebody lend him Enter The Dragon on DVD, for f*ck's sake.
