Simply put, nobody has mastered the art of character reinvention quite like Le Champion.
But perhaps the most impressive example of Chris Jericho changing up his schtick in order to make himself a feature player again came back in the mid 2010's.
Unveiling a list that contained the names of everyone he felt was a bit of a pain in the ass under the WWE banner, the multiple-time World Champion somehow managed to get the phrase "You Just Made The List!" over to a frankly insane level. He wasn't done there, however.
This slapstick villain of sorts also added the likes of "You Stupid Idiot!" and "You're Gonna Get... It!" to his arsenal over this period, with it often feeling like the bored veteran was simply challenging himself with what dumb catchphrase he could make popular with the masses next.
The result? The scarf-wearing cartoon of a character wound up in the middle of the most popular feud of the year opposite Kevin Owens on the Road to WrestleMania 33. And you know what happens to silly billionaires who foolishly think that Da Man vs. Da Beast needs a world title strap more than Y2J vs. KO?
He just made the list!
