10 Actors Who Should Play WWE Attitude Era Superstars In Movies
8. Jeff Daniels As Jim Ross
With J.R., there needs to be a certain amount of tactful respect in portraying Ross' real-life Bell's Palsy affliction. Although Patton Oswalt can surely do a spot-on Jim Ross impression, as he frequently interjects a stereotypical redneck impression into his stand-up routines, but he doesn't have enough credentials as a serious actor to give him a pass with this one.
Jeff Daniels, on the other hand, has the clout to turn the impression into a genuine character inhabitation. Plus, if you squint a little bit, Daniels already looks a little like J.R. Dye his hair black and throw a cowboy hat on the aging Harry Dunne and you've got yourself a perfectly passable Jim Ross.
