10 AEW ALL OUT 2021 Impulse Reactions

6. The Young Bucks (c) Vs. Lucha Brothers

As psychotic as it was scintillating, the latest explosive Young Bucks/Lucha Brothers match brought all four even closer to death than their legendarily thrilling Escalera De La Muerte ladder from this show two years earlier.

A wild start escalated quickly into a game of competitive abuse that appeared to peak with The Lucha Bros being bloodied up by a thumbtack shoe thrown in by the accurate arm of Brandon Cutler. Overconfidence was at long last the undoing of the Champions in the aftermath though - seemingly certain victory was ripped away by a Rey Fenix save and the series of jaw-dropping spots that followed culminated in a title change rich in euphoria and catharsis.

For all Penta and Fenix didn't really feel like the guys to get it done in the build, the match served as a reminder as why they've been perfect candidates for this spot all along.

Sublime to the last, this offered everything and then topped it. The title of this piece is "Impulse Reactions", but these words will have to suffice in the place of the screams and squeals that emerged from your writer (and the Chicago crowd) for just about everything delivered in the final five minutes.
