10 AEW ALL OUT 2021 Impulse Reactions

2. Paul Wight Vs. QT Marshall

Adam Cole Bryan Danielson
AEW

It went 3:10, didn't lose the crowd or any credibility for the people involved, and thus served the rational purpose many hoped it would when it was announced.

Does this subsequently mark Big Show Vs QT Marshall as a...success?

Not exactly, but it wasn't a catastrophic failure either. Show swatted away the Factory lads en route to easily beating Marshall with a chokeslam having knocked him about a bit and nailed him with his "shh"ing corner chops.

That was literally all of it, but plenty of fans probably needed the toilet and/or the chance to lay their hands on a CM Punk t-shirt or something like that. Those that sat in their seats had time to recover from the 'Straight Edge Superstar' himself and find their voice again in time for the chaos at the end of the night.

It's very possible that could have been achieved without booking these two ageing old pros, but this was well beyond the most dismal and depressing of predicted possibilities. Even the best shows need filler. This, on one of those, was that.
