10 AEW Stars Who Desperately Need More TV Time

9. Scorpio Sky

If you asked fans back in 2019 to guess who would go on to become AEW’s four pillars, Scorpio Sky would have been on a lot of people’s lists. The former SCU guy seemed like a hot babyface prospect, scoring a pin over “Le Champion” Chris Jericho and winning over the crowd by wrestling a match in his street shoes. Since then, instead of being a star player he’s become mired in the midcard.

Sky appears on television more than many on this list, but most of his TV time is just him pissing himself behind Dan Lambert. Sky can go in the ring, and to make a real impact he needs to be proving it regularly on Rampage or Dynamite.

After his babyface run stuttered, his heel turn and pairing with fellow Man of The Year Ethan Page had potential, but Scop’s a long way from being the champion-in-waiting he once seemed. In their own feud with The Inner Circle, Page and Sky seemed like a secondary concern behind Jericho and Lambert’s verbal sparring.

“The Face Of The Revolution” ladder match uses a brass ring as a prize in a dig at WWE’s expense, but if AEW doesn’t properly push the guy who grabs it then the joke becomes a bit of a self-own.
