10 AEW Wrestlers Lost In The Shuffle After All Out 2021

8. The Dark Order

AEW

We've been here before.

The Dark Order are synonymous with the very best and very worst of AEW, having been part of arguably the hottest television match in the company's short history as well as a segment that remains the nadir for the organisation nearly two years after it first occured.

What separates December 2019 from September 2021 is the remarkable growth of the company, and the roster it now boasts. When the group finally found themselves first as heels with Brodie Lee and eventually as the babyface backers of Hangman Page in 2020, they did so through the necessary patience afforded to them by those in charge behind the scenes.

AEW had worked too hard on The Dark Order for the whole thing to be chalked off, but their current in-fighting couldn't feel more forced by comparison. Yes, Page will return, bring them back together and conquer Kenny Omega, but can John Silver and the gang really join him up there at the top of the card when so many new captivating performers have since been slotted in in?

Parting would bring a certain sorrow, but it might still be the sweetest thing for all of them.
