10 AEW Wrestlers Lost In The Shuffle After All Out 2021

9. Frankie Kazarian

AEW dropped the ball with Frankie Kazarian as The Elite Hunter.

Kaz was a man possessed after The Young Bucks cruelly put their friends to the sword in an evocative win-or-retire match against SCU. Though undercooked in the build, the story came good at the climax - Matt and Nick Jackson feigned not wanting to put bullets in Christopher Daniels' career specifically, then revelled in all the bloody glory of just doing just that.

Incensed at the gross injustice of it all, Kazarian appeared in the weeks that followed to batter the constantly interfering ancillary members of the group, to the point where The Bucks and Kenny Omega seemed genuinely terrified of the possibility of his presence, let alone when he actually arrived. It seemed like a banker of a tale to tell too - Kazarian could defeat the crew one by one to extract revenge and pad his rankings enough to get a shot at Omega's title.

Instead, at virtually his first attempt, Kaz failed. He lost to Doc Gallows on Dynamite, and was reduced to a lesser-than alongside Christian against Omega and Brandon Cutler on Rampage shortly afterwards. The Elite were joyously assaulted at the conclusion of All Out, but the former Tag Team Champion wasn't there alongside Bryan Danielson, Jungle Boy et al to get his pound of flesh. Based on what felt like another sizeable stumble, it's reasonable to assume his hunting days are over.
