10 AEW Wrestlers Lost In The Shuffle After All Out 2021

2. Team Taz

Team Taz were alpha dogs of All Elite Wrestling for much of 2020.

An awesome act awesomely assembled for awesome purposes, a relationship between Taz and Brian Cage eventually spawned into a group that included Ricky Starks, Taz' son Hook and heel-turning newcomer Powerhouse Hobbs. They beat the sh*t out of folk, and for the longest time it seemed as though they'd use these violent means to cruise to the top of the card.

Sadly, much of 2021 has been spent reflecting if that was simply all a dream. Brian Cage has left the group and subsequently lost the FTW Championship to Starks, but AEW took ages to pull the trigger on the whole thing and just as long to get to the matches the whole split was orchestrated to set up. And they weren't that great.

Though far from obscurity, they weren't attached to anything that mattered enough to get on to the All Out card, and it'll be fascinating to see if the formerly dominant act can regain any footing with so many new threats entering the fold.
