10 AEW Wrestlers Lost In The Shuffle After All Out 2021

3. Abadon

Orange Cassidy
AEW

Whatever Abadon is, it's becoming increasingly clear what she isn't in All Elite Wrestling.

She's not a featured player of any renown. She's not, based on limited glimpses during the Casino Battle Royale, in the upper tier of in-ring performers in AEW's glacially improving women's division. She's not even scary, not really anyway. Not in the way that wrestlers seem terrified of even getting in there with her as they once were.

More's the pity too - the act was phenomenally successful in its earliest days, but when AEW made further strides away from being a product that flirts in anyway with the supernatural, Abadon's chances of a sustained successful run got smaller.

The division needs depth, and Champions will always need challengers to beat in one night rather than over one pay-per-view cycle, but these defeats will only harm her almost-entirely depleted aura more. Gone are the days where Anna Jay would eat a squash or Hikaru Shida might cower in fear - it might be worth Abadon considering what she can do to replicate or recreate that early magic.
