Injuries have held Miro back since he joined AEW in 2020. However, the company's booking and approach has also limited him. This is a guy who was meant to be a huge get for TK when he left 'Rusev Days' behind in WWE and signed on the dotted line, but he hasn't gone on to become a major player.

It's fairly obvious that All Elite's top brass don't know how to book Miro effectively for any significant length of time. Wait and see: He'll return from injury, be pushed to the moon as an unstoppable killer for a month or so, then Tony will bat his eyelashes at another project he'd rather focus on that Wednesday. It's painful to watch this grind.

Returning to WWE and his old Rusev gimmick (whether heel or babyface, but he'd presumably be cheered at first) might well be the Bulgarian's best option. AEW hasn't worked out for him, and there are no indications that will ever change.
