10 AEW Wrestlers Who Are Impossible To Care About

1. Samoa Joe

Had The Samoan Submission Machine seen locking horns with Beast Incarnates, or tearing his way through the likes of TNA and ROH shown up in Tony Khan's playground on April 6, this entry would have no right to exist.

Hell, if the Samoa Joe who'd spent the majority of 2020 at the commentary desk arrived on the All Elite scene after being initially let go from WWE in April last year, the AEW landscape could've likely been well and truly shook up.

Yet, neither of those scenarios ultimately came to pass. And unfortunately, the current reigning ROH World TV Champion's timing of his should-have-been-jaw-dropping AEW bow ultimately bit him on the ass.

The Suzuki dispatching and a run all the way to the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation tournament look lovely on paper. But the truth is that a once-marquee player has been thoroughly shuffled into the mid-card pack at a staggeringly rapid pace.

Far from serving as a special attraction of sorts or even a fraction of the out-and-out killer he used to be, Joe has unfortunately found himself the victim of one surprise AEW debut too many in recent times, leaving fans with simply too much of a good thing to earnestly scream "Joe!" in quite the same way they once did.
