10 ALL IN Impulse Reactions

6. Absolute Murder

Hangman Page killing his second wrestling Joey with the weapon he used to bludgeon the first was just one of the exquisite tonal shifts in a sports entertainment spectacle that was genuinely hard to top elsewhere on the card.

The aforementioned assault came with both Page and Joey Janella at the top of a ladder with a table looming ominously below. The phone (acquired by Page from a props bag that also contained the boots haunted by the memory of Ryan's death) attack came seconds before a Rights Of Passage from the ladder through the wood. Considering the series of other similar spots 'The Bad Boy' endured on the night not least the horrifying impact, it was little surprise he was left looking at the lights. That, many could have foretold.

Penis druids though? That was all ALL IN.

Joey Ryan's triumphant return from the grave created the need for the phallic silliness, but Ryan running Page off after this absorbing spectacle was both payoff for this hilarious tale, or a tease of a match later to come.
