10 ALMOST Impossible Wrestling Comebacks That Might Actually Happen

5. Eric Bischoff

His 2002 Monday Night Raw debut remains one of the most powerful and evocative WWE moments ever for those that lived through the Monday Night Wars, but Eric Bischoff could still be a featured performer for the company after yet again trying to take them on in 2010.

Alongside Hulk Hogan, Bischoff took control of TNA during a Dixie Carter-mandated assault on WWE that ended in total disaster. Amongst other blunders, the company briefly ran their weekly Impact broadcast head to head against Raw, and gobbled up countless former stars in a morale-sapping exercise that frustrated an old guard that had consistently worked above themselves to establish the ailing Orlando outfit as a credible Number Two.

Perhaps in part due to the utter failure of the mission, Bischoff remained in the good graces of Vince McMahon, earning himself a WWE Network special with Bradshaw and a three-disk DVD release.

He made his first live appearance for the company in nearly a decade at the 2017 Hall of Fame to induct his friend Diamond Dallas Page, but was a overwhelmingly popular choice to replace Mick Foley as Raw General Manager when the company flirted with bringing back a former authority figure to do the job.

An affable and malleable performer, 'Easy E's time may come again should Kurt Angle face textual termination.
