7. Vince Hates Sneezing But Loves Farts!
Its fairly well known that McMahon hates sneezing. Its assumed that its the involuntary nature of a sneeze theres no controlling it, and anything Vince cant control, he despises. Hes been known to cut promos on a sneeze, ranting and raving about it, seeing it as a sign of weakness and showing incredible frustration with himself. Theres actually a well-known condition whereby one can experience these kinds of negative emotions based on fairly ordinary noises like sneezing, coughing, chewing gum, sniffing, whistling even laughing. Its called misophonia, and its still being investigated today: the jurys out as to whether it constitutes a brain disorder or simply a mental conditioning issue. One thing that McMahon doesnt have a problem with is farting far from it, in fact. CM Punks told the story of having to share a room with Undertaker, JBL, Edge and Vince when the company was performing at a Tribute To The Troops special in Iraq. Insomniac at the best of times, crammed onto a bunkbed above a snoring JBL in the spectacular bedroom of one of Saddams old palaces, Punk was reflecting on his strange life choices when he heard someone let one rip followed by a distinctive, deep hurr hurr hurr laugh as the boss giggled at his own emissions. That kind of explains poor Natalyas horrendous farting gimmick. And of course, Jim Ross tells the story of McMahon trying to upset Gerald Briscos notoriously tender stomach by letting off toxic farts in the Gorilla position and ending up accidentally following through mere seconds before he was due to walk out in front of thousands of fans. Theres no word on whether thats the origin of Vinces famous power walk to the ring, sadly.
